
A Brief History of Autumn Graphics
1982
Autumn Graphics Ltd. was incorporated by Jerry Abray and Earl Schloendorf. The company was located in the Talbot Communications building on Ann Street in London, Ontario.
1985
After a sucessful start-up, and substantial growth, Autumn Graphics purchased the old "Hunter Printing" building at 125 Elm Street in London, and relocated all production operations.
1988
Autumn Graphics installed one of the first Drum Scanners in the area. It was a Crosfield Magnascan with both image input and film output units.
1992
Autumn Graphics was an early adopter of Computer to Film production methods for both Litho and Flexo production, installing a digital department using Mac workstations, and Scangraphic output devices.
1998
Autumn Graphics became the first Canadian install of Artwork Systems' (then known as PCC) Packflow software. This was one of the first truly flexible open architecture Workflow systems available.
2000
Autumn Graphics began integrating Litho Computer to Plate (CTP) production using a Barco Visible Light Imager.
2002
In order to accomodate established growth in business, and to be able to accomodate future growth and provide additional services, we designed, built, and moved into our current production facility at 669 Sovereign Road, London, ON.
Autumn Graphics also upgraded their workflow software to Artwork Systems' Nexus Technology that year.
2003
Autumn Graphics expanded their Litho CTP production with the install of a Screen Platerite 8600 Thermal Imager.
Our Flexo CTP production was launched in August 2003 with the installation of a Creo Thermoflex Device and DuPont Thermal Plate technology.
2006
Autumn Graphics expanded its Flexo CTP production with the installation of a second Kodak Thermoflex device.
2008
Autumn Graphics expanded its Flexo CTP production once again with the installation Asahi Solvent Based Plate Technology and Kodak Flexcel NX Plate Technology.
